I've been raiding the family photo album again and found these pics of Wonderland.
Not exactly sure what year their from, but i would say 1985/86.
Unfortunately no pics of the "thrill rides" but anyway i think it shows what the park was like in its prime.
Balloon ride in Hanna Barbara land..
Some other kiddie ride
Entrance to the Dodgems--Bountys Revenge in the background.
Snowy River Rampage loading bay--Bush Beast in background.
Sea Demon- thats me, centre pic red jumper, green shorts
Oh well thats all i've got, nothing really special, but it shows the park all shiny and new!!

Re: A few old pics
Thanks for that redhot, geez that brings back a few memories. I was used to seeing the park with all the trees and plants all grown by the time I got around going, it's just all cleared and the loading station for SRR looks so different. I think I have a few photos in our old albums but not sure if they're any good. I'll have to have a look

Yep Wonderland was a great place when it first opened. I just loved that old Bounty's Revenge Looping Starship; the atmosphere was amazing! It never ran as fast as the Hangover or Kamikaze but it could stay upside down for ages and the number of people riding at one time made it noisy with all the screaming kids.
