Newcastle foreshore is holding a Need for Speed festival over the anzac long weekend. Not much as far as cars go a little area with bout 10 cars in a little show.
But they did have an amusement area that by far was way more exciting. Good lineup of rides
Speed
XXXL
Dodgem Cars
Surfs Up
Ferris Wheel
Hard Rock
Sea Circus
Ghost Pirates
Hangover
Sling Shot
Ali Baba
Power Surge
Heaps of games an only a couple of kiddies riddes.
Was a bit quiet when we first got there but picked as the afternoon went on.
Ali Baba didnt do to well ran twice in three hours with bout two or three people each load.
The kids ride next to it was doing better than it.
Otherwise everything else was doing well.
Overall a good little canival. Very impressed.
Got some photo that i will put up later.

Thanks for the review and pics guys!

Definitely a good ride line-up for the festival. Is this the first time it has been held? Hopefully it will be an anual event! I would've thought Mega Drop would've been there, perhaps it did Orange instead.

Actually heard it wasn't that much of a good turnout sadly. Great lineup though, thanks for the photos

Yeah i agree with that TG. Crowd wasnt that great but a good lineup of rides. Maybe if the festival had a bit more action going on than just a little car show with about 10 or so cars there, it may have went better. There wasnt anything happening to get the crowds to the foreshore.
