The Civic Park Spectacular, located in Tea Tree Gully next to Tea Tree Plaza is a community event that runs only on even-numbered years.
This year's featured Wes Carr live in concert, followed by a fireworks display. There are amusement rides on the west side of the park (next to Reservoir Road).
This years rides:
Sizzler (from Victor Harbour)
Trippa (Spider ride)
Ali Baba
Hurricane (Alaskan USA Import)
Cha-Cha
Dodgems
A smaller version of the Zamperla Rockin' Tug

Great pic Dazzland. Never new there where two ali babas operating. Thought Gills was it, but gills looks better by far. Spider ride looks good for its age too .

there are quite a few Ali Babas around. The Trippa has had a lot of work done to it and has come up really good. great to see it's still looking good. Tryppa (Eyerly Spider) is owned by Mick Leighton. If you see it, ride it, you won't be dissappointed!

Cheers for the photos and welcome. Interesting to see that Occy, looking quite good. Didn't know there was one that operated out of S.A. Also bit odd to have 2 Scrambler's at an event like that. Ali Baba's is looking good too, very well presented

The Sizzler from Victor Harbour is operated by D & D Amusements, which also operated a Big Wheel at Victor Harbour.
