Australian Amusement Fanatics

Since I saw O'Neil's yard on Nearmap, it had lots of rides! Some are set up, some are packed, some are under maintainance and it even has ride parts!
I also looked at it on Google Earth Street View, but it wasn't of high resolution due to the bright sun!
Does anyone know which rides are here? (besides the Gravitron, Rainbow, a giant slide, a Trabant, etc)

Some are probably in the "Bone Yard" either sitting there because they are beyond repair or not worth repair as the ride is not longer popular or no longer comply with standards but at the very least they maybe worth something even if it was just for sale of parts which is why they probably still have them in the yard

Ranger, Love Express, Fear, Log Flume, Drop Ride, Sizzler, kiddie rides.

Also down the back you can see the ex-wonderland Beastie and Bush Beast rollercoaster cars.

Does anyone own or work at this property?

Umm O'Neill's...
Don't think they just dump their rides on a bit of land and hope that council won't take posession of any of their belongings

Maybe some pics would be better than Nearmap or Google Earth.

the bottom two are of WITTINGSLOW'S model, which now belong to O'NEILLS... and is painted blue.
im sure the first two is of EBERHARD's ex-Rainbow, which is now at a theme park, and has some weird safari theme on it
o'neills last had Rainbow operating at the 2008 Sydney Royal Easter Show, the ride was then booked for the 2009 show, but pulled a week before the start....
Rumor is that it will be back in 2011... We really need to get behind it, email the RES, let them know how important Rainbow is.... it's won countless awards.. pretty impressive when there are new rides around like No Limit and Space Roller.

From the look of the yard there quite a few bit of equipment that needs to get back on the road

exactly, im sure there are rides there we dont even know about!

i used stay camp over o'neills yard during working on rainbow at 2007 easter show.
there lots of old rides racked all is working order.
o'neills yard used to be adventure park in old days now they closed down change to portable rides and they only use the park during summer time every year when summer time coming they have to mower the piles of lawn!!!
garry o'neill keep the ex wonderland rollercoaster cars for their future plans to build a rollercoaster on their park which garry told me.
