No, I think they all hire special staff to come from a company called, RENT A RIDE.com and SET ME UP.com They fly to Australia to all the carnivals and shows to just set up and pack up the machines. I think thats why carnivals are always on weekends too. Cos the Airfairs on Fly-Lo are cheaper on weekdays for the staff to fly and setup then on then weekends. Sounds crazy dont it!

FML... Fly-Lo... Dear god I love that show...
But in all seriousness, it's a very complex procedure for some rides to be set up and pulled down. Other's are more simple. I couldn't really describe how it's done but yeah.

Few of us on here work for various operators and some owners browse these forums. Depends what ride you want to know about, I've set-up/pulled down Hurricane, Dodgem Track, Rockin' Tug, Fun Slide, Fantasy Cups and Flying Fish them being Better Amusement's rides. And helped do the Top Gun once or twice

Yeah, you'd be surprised who has helped pull down rides. I've personally helped pull down the following attractions in order from first to last.
Kids Rides
Voyager Simulator
Shockwave (Kamikaze)
Fun Factory
Cyber Party
Super Trooper

Its done by hydrolic rams... push the arms up, the arm that holds the seating is still attached, and then the a-frame is bolted... it's all done soo quickly! KMG really design their rides well for packup... well most!

the only KMG that we have in aus that doesn't pack onto a single trailer is the sky walker but it still only takes two trailers maybe a B-double

Im pretty sure to get the a frame up, they just use very large and very powerful hydraulic cylinders.
Have a look at this model made out of knex, it shows the rough set up of a KMg inversion. Although i just guessed how it sets up, i hope its pretty accurate.

Yeah Sky Walker is 1 main trailer for the main arm and 1 car with the backdrop folding around it, and the 2nd is for the 2 other cars, decks, gates, light towers and control booth!
