Brisbane Wheel versus SkyView
Brisbane Wheel versus SkyView
Does anybody understand why the ppl in Brisbane decided to put a 54meter wheel of the same type that had the accident in Korea on South Bank, instead of the SkyView which could have been build there in 2 days time instead of several months. Then they would not have had the huge costs of all the groundwork and the wheel would have been there in time.
To me it looks like in Brisbane there is one set of rules for Pommies and another for Ozzies. :!:

hey guys, got a quick glimpse of the wheel tonite, looks really nice. but i just had and ahah! moment...
Well i remember some of you sayin you were a little surprised that Sky View was doing alot of smaller shows (regional ones) well i know i was thinkin that too. It only did the capitals in it's debut year hey?
Well i have a theory johnson's were seeing if they could make a profit if they travelled it with some smaller shows as well, because the threat of not making as much money at the capitals esp, brisbane and melbourne, because they are both getting larger semi/perminent wheels? thus the novelty would be taken away from Sky View
Has someone already had this theory an posted it elsewhere? cus i would look like a damn fool..
PS should there be a new forum/index/page for wheel of Brisbane in the QLD amusement list?
not too sure, but im pretty sure it was a Mondial
Its a R60 of Nauta Bussink the SkyView is the only Mondial build wheel in the Southern Hemisphere.
There are a view R60 in the Southern Hemisphere.
The ex Seaworld Eye (tipped the gondola s over during a test run)
The one that was in Korea (tipped a gondola over and killed 5 people)
There was one in Kuala Lumpur where the goverment had to buy 500.000 tickets to keep the operating company out of problems.
You can check all this on the internet, seems that there is always something weird going on with the R60 s.

yes hurricane that could be a tad embarrassing for you!!!!
but the fact that we both know that the people in question do read and are active on this forum but putting that to the side what would actually be more funny is when he is old enough to read and understand that he was to make a reply, but by that stage id guess that this thread will be archived.
but still extremely funny the sheer terror on your face.

i still cant believe that u r still carrying on like a lil school boy over this but i guess u r still young and really don't like those ferris wheels , more so when u get " dragged or forced" on them by ya mates or a 2.5yr old boy who is young enough to get away with it and still young enough to not understand.but all the same you really must face those fears. and yes ill run when u read this.
