2008/2009 Rye Beach Carnival

Sorry about the late post of photos, big weekend down at Rye for my 21st.
Anyways, photos will be up tomorrow, but here is the ride list:

Verfurths Giant Sky Wheel - In the place of Taipan/Wild Mouse
Mega Drop - In the spot of Ali Baba/Matterhorn
Midnight Madness - Fantastic location facing the beach, opposite Sky Wheel
Pirate
Breakdance
Hurricane - Ex Durkins model, in the spot of Scorpion
Cha Cha
Dodgems
Various Kids rides and Games

Overall a huge improvement on 2007. Great to see such huge pieces like Mega Drop and the Wheel there, they definetly compliment Pirate and the entire area. I can even see the two giant rides from my house!

Thanks for that info huss! It is very interesting to see Midnight Madness i bet you are not happy about that huss! Great to see some different rides have turned up this year.

What a nice surprise to see Mega Drop turn up, and classic like the Hurricane alongside the Giant Wheel. Nice mix of rides, shame no Zipper or Taipan though. It's still good, and better than last year.

Pirate is looking a little rough now days, but always good to see it, regardless.

I will not be leaving Rye without riding the Hurricane. (and Verf's wheel)

As for Midnight Madness... that backdrop is looking sharp. Nice airbrush work.
