Re: ROYAL GEELONG SHOW 2009
Yeh TPA's but it's called Super Jump. The Round Up looks like Johnson's Viper (not the same Johnson's who own the Hard Rock). Thanks for the photos too
Re: ROYAL GEELONG SHOW 2009

Re: ROYAL GEELONG SHOW 2009
I remember riding that Round Up at Geelong about 3 years ago, it was behind the Mega Drop just like in the pics. I think it was called Tornado though, which was a bit strange since Bells Round Up is also the Tornado.

Re: ROYAL GEELONG SHOW 2009
Here is a photo of this Round Up/Tornado at the Shepparton Show in 2006, it appeared again this year. I have also seen pics of this Energy Storm, Ultimate Party Machine, Alpine Express and some others at a Easter Festival in Bendigo, which isn't far from Ballarat, maybe I need to venture out there next easter?

Re: ROYAL GEELONG SHOW 2009
Yeh I'm pretty sure that Round Up used to be called Viper. Looks very similar, wouldn't suprise me if it has had a name change. As the Viper had the ticket box on the trailer, had that sphere with the lights on the centre and the cages look very similar with the lights, design of cages etc

Re: ROYAL GEELONG SHOW 2009
Thanks for them photos missionelement. It is good to see TPA's Kamikaze out and about. Also where is Halloween hiding, it was at Geelong last year and XXXL is there so where is it. I'm not worried that it hasnt turned up because it is a ghost train afterall but I am just curious.

Re: ROYAL GEELONG SHOW 2009
thanks for the photos. Looks like it could be quite a good show. I've always enjoyed Geelong Show. I will probably go if the weather holds.
It will be the first time I've seen TPA's Kamikaze (always seem to miss it) - was it parked like that at 90 degrees?
Pretty sure that Roundup is Johnson's (ex-Viper name) Technojump is TPA's.
hopefully there will be a few other surprises yet to arrive.
Fingers crossed for a sunny weekend.

Looking forward to it Missionelement. Strange there was no Ghost Trains at all. Thought FJF's would've turned up.

Re: ROYAL GEELONG SHOW 2009
Back from show the crowds were picking up and the Hangover had massive crowds full loads each run, SAD news was for two days the kamikaze has not had one run, it is working but dont think was getting any numbers as of the location and all the riders were around the other area sad news, I must say all rides have been given great ride cycles.
