The 2010 Royal Melbourne Show is coming around again, any one have any definate info for any particular rides? I wish XXXL wasnt going to Perth this year!!!!

I will be going to the show and doing a review and some photos aswell.

Was wondering when someone was gonna start a topic on this. Yeh bit of a bummber with XXXL not attending, might make way for some other rides. Can't think of any new rides that will be in sideshow alley in that main area. But in the family carnival where Pirate's Revenge was last year there will be a new family coaster being debuted...

no that result is looking to be about a year or two away.

well that needs to happen i think. then the year after attendance down heaps. and the year after might see the rent come down a bit.

the upgrade was the worst thing that ever happened to the showgrounds, the 2 major carnival area's used to be insane.... how many people can say they rode a HUSS PIRATE or ZIPPER on a rooftop? (besides adelaide people haha)

Interesting to see 2 Ali Baba's and also Crazy Raft in the Thrill Seekers Carnival I thought it was a 'kids' ride?

It's classified as a family ride but could be said to be a thrill, that thing flies. Good to see Thunderbolt's back on aswell, still deserves to be on the capitals. Also the Runaway Train making it's debut, Joyland's latest ride, be interesting to hear how this goes, I'm sure it'll be popular

Yeh it can Huss, Bell's Thunderbolt pulled off the other day. And also the Kamikaze there is the ex-TPA Satori model, now owned by Justin Gill

Runaway Train, well named Wild WIld West I think is Joyland's new family coaster. There's a photo on the show's website

i didnt know TPA sold the kamikaze.... Last time I saw it, it was at Geelong Show, not operating.....

didnt really get many photos today, but back on tuesday, nothing much to report, other than it looked like someone while riding NO LIMIT kicked the side clear perspex and snapped off a corner, sending the plastic flying towards Chants games.... safety crew were all around...The ride kept operating, so nothing major
