Photos courtesy of a circus friend
Re: Darwin Show 2011 - photos
Can anyone confirm that the Indy Car dodgem track was Dean Larkins from New Zealand, I had been told it was sold to a Australian Showmne.
Thanks for the pics

Re: Darwin Show 2011 - photos
Yes the Indy cars are the ex New Zealand set owned by Larkins, they are now owned by Charlie Gardners Travelling show. The first track looks pretty good though, I think. Oh thats right because its my dodgem track lol.
Cheers OZ

Cheers for the photos, interesting to see Chaos back on the circuit. Who's the new owner? Assume it's not Paul and Wade Watkins

Charlie Gardner I think. It's looking a bit tired IMO - those cars need a new shiny coat, they are beyond a cut n polish. He has sexed it up a bit though with those cut-outs lol

Yeh you can say that again, especially those purple cars. And yeh can't say those cutouts are boosting the presentation of the ride...
But spose it is good seeing it on the road again, hopefully he doesn't have too many problems with the machine

Nice pics Zamperla, courtesty of your friend of course. I thought Darwin being a capital it might have been a bit better of a line up.
Looks more like a country show than a capital. Who owns the music trip? Its good to see another choas, I've only ever seen Durkins chaos.
Quirindi shows on start of september which isnt far from Tamworth. Will be heading down for a look. Interesting to see what turns up.
Nothing to spectacular i guess.

The 'Bad Boys II' music trip is owned by Dragon City (Troy Quay) the other 'Music Trip' is Bells.
Re: Darwin Show 2011 - photos

A shame not to see Bell's Thunderbolt up there either which usually does the territory run. Doing less and less shows each year nowadays, really still needs to be out.

Re: Darwin Show 2011 - photos
Well I'm thinking I may just have to fly down and check out Adelaide show this year (depending on what bookings I have here and if I can get away). I did the RES last year for the first time and hear alot of good things about Adelaide
