Post by Paulie123 »

hey everyone.

i was reading theme park review today and found something that struck me as strange.. i dont know if it is strange because ive never seen anything like it before..? so i saw this hard rock type ride (frisbee) with what looked like power surge seats. IDENTICAL!! look for yourself..

http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/ph ... 4&pageno=3

scroll down to the bottom of the page and check out the last few pics. so whats going on here?

To put it simply, That Frisbee ride is made by Zamperla. Co-Incidently the same manufacturers of the Power Surge. That would be why the seats / harnesses are the same.

I love Hard Rock, and i've never had a issue with the harnesses on that ride.

Neither... usually once they pull the restraint down, I pull it in just so it clicks once more, and im soo secure, its more fun knowing I will only move a few inches, while throwing my arms and legs around haha.... soo fun

I think Zamperla has just taken a picture of the Frisbee ride while he has been OS, so maybe he will put it up, when he gets back.

I might try Hard Rock again, after my bad experience at the Melbourne Show 2008.

I'm always safe and secure on the Hard Rock, never ever had I had a problem. The seats and restrain system are well designed. Those seats are more open on that frisbee.
