Was just thinking that there is alot of smaller amusement companies around the traps who don't travel, yet still have major investments tied up and make valuable contributions to the industry. At the moment we see reviews of shows, and some of our members are very good at that process kind of like reporting.
So i thought it may be a chance for our talented members who know operators, owners, staff or whoever in the industry to maybe conduct an interview with them, maybe a profile to tell us more about who they are and what they do etc, a bit of an insight to a day in the life etc. All that sort of stuff which may be a little different to a usual review, and also might keep the posts ticking over while we have quiet times in areas of australia.
That being said, i would love to know about our major companies who are deep in family traditions and generations. i know alot of you know bits and pieces about them, but thought this may be a chance for the whole AAD community to learn about a family in the industry straight from the horses mouth. (So to speak) This sort of thing i think may introduce new members through people wanting to read about their friend or boss etc who has an in depth interview conducted by one or a few of our members.
This may make AAD a little more transparent to the industry and make the industry more transparent for us. Win win nearly?? hehe
What ya think??? (Hopefully i worded myself correctly)
