Not a bad lineup this year, strange to see theyre putting Ali Baba down near Power Surge.
Can't believe Rainbow will not be back once again... What a joke! (other rainbow's are running fine overseas).
Ranger has been moved to behind Space Roller, and Breakdance is down the back near Wave Swinger.
XXXL has been delt a pretty average spot, being right next to the Skymaster Wheel, but will be awesome for photos...

Interesting that the map has a boomerang coaster as the 'to be announced' attraction. My guess it'll be either Laurwence's Big Dipper or a travelling coaster previously unseen in Au.

Pity Mixer isn't on.

I wonder if we will see any new wheels in the other areas, as previously questioned.

No Thunderbolt or Shorts dodgems.

Shorts have had their dodgems at the show for as long as I can remember.

Yeh they were meant to have their new track on but that still hasn't left Italy it's sitting there ready to be loaded on the ship. I've heard The Big Dipper won't be coming across so I'm guessing a new coaster?? Shame about Thunderbolt, would much rather that over Chant's ride, even though I still haven't seen it.

But it's good, hardly any rides have been given the boot, will be odd to see Speed next to Mega Drop and backing onto the pavillion. Yeh I think I may know who owns Carnevil, not 100% though

Yeh was gonna say TPA, but I remember V8 Dodgem saying Jaime Pickett has 3 different Ghost Trains including Rollerghoster and he said Jaime was rebuilding/doing up one of the other rides.

Also Garry O'Neill has his kids flume called Adventure Island in the kids carnival while Pavier's have the Surf's Up on and another new ride and exclusive for Bell's Amusement's which is the Crazy Raft

maybe instead of buying a new flume, he probably should have fixed a major "one of a kind" german ride that he lists on his website!

There will be some inevitable changes as the date nears, as always.

Thumbs up to RES for having a nicely presented ride map well in advance of the big date.

ps. you could be on the right track with Carnevil. Sounds like a clever re-brand. Great name.

Insanity only does MOOMBA, EKKA, and ADELAIDE... never been to RES before

They've applied for it at Sydney but for some reason the RES knock it back. It works more than that, I know last year it worked:

Clipsal 500 - Adelaide
Ekka
Adelaide Show
Moomba
Sydney Telstra 500
Fisher's Ghost
Broadbeach Christmas Carnival

But yeh it doesn't work that much. Durkin's have to hire a second trailer, crane and generator just to set-up/pull down the ride and since they've bought it Durkin's have been consitantly repairing/upgrading the ride so the ride would phase out all the problems it had. And it running well now, all the problems have been sorted so hopefully we'll get to see the ride alot more in the future

I always get excited when the RES topic comes up on AAF; it's almost my favourite time of the year again!

A boomerang coaster and two water rides? The RES is starting to sound like a theme park!

Disappointing yet again about Rainbow not getting on; who knows what's going on there! Ali Baba is probably a bit faster than the Rainbow but is not as good in my oppinion although it has been a few years since I have ridden the Rainbow.
