Re: Tea Cup Ride
Not sure if they're a standard S&W ride, there's a few differences in the actual build of the ride and something like the usual S&W models. Here's a photo of it before it was re-vamped:
Like every year the company decide to rebuild or carry out a bit of work on a particular ride. This was done over 2009/early 2010. The ride was first painted by Mark Gill then the rest of the decks, fencing, racking system was carried out by Bernie Gimbert who was also based at the yard for some time. Pretty sure the work was done for the ride to gain a position on Sydney Show in 2010. Has payed off, the ride does look fantastic. This year they had a new tarp screen printed for this years show showcasing a heap of Disney characters which looked great.
Not sure how long they've had the ride but I can find out more info for you on manufacturer etc.
Cheers
